Anti-inflammatory Turmeric Porridge (VG + GF)

I believe porridge oats are the most super super-food our there. They are an amazing gluten-free whole grain, that is also a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Not to mention they are delicious just as they are but you can also sweeten and flavour them however you wish!

Turmeric supports liver detoxification, healthy cholesterol and a healthy immune system, promotes the body’s natural response to allergens and benefits the digestion.
Easy vegan gluten-free pancakes

Makes: 1 bowl

Preparation time: 15 min


  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • 2/4 cup oats

  • 1 teaspoon date syrup

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or more if you fancy it)

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • water

+ any toppings of your choice

My choice:

  • kiwi

  • blueberries

  • avocado

  • hemp seeds

  • coconut almond butter from PURE NUTS


Easy vegan gluten-free pancakes


Pour the coconut milk in a saucepan and bring it to boil.

Add the oats, date syrup and turmeric, cover the saucepan and cook over medium heat for about 10 or 15 minutes.

Place the porridge in a bowl (I use coconut bowls from Coconut Bowls). Top and decorate with anything & everything you fancy!

They also lower blood pressure, improve health function, help reduce hunger and increase feelings of fullness, and can reduce constipation.
